Organic publications are seperated into sections, each serving a general purpose. The question is then posed: how do we know what we know? This answer is found when looking at the results section. In this area, chemist include graphs and data to serve as evidence for their overall claim or purpose. The author then goes into a detailed discussion as to what the data is communicating. The section is set up in a way that is easy to follow, which is because the author wants the audience to clearly have access to their justification. The author restates multiple ways the data was found, this repetition is a way to confirm results. Having only one way is not as reliable when it comes to evidence, so more is better.
